Released august 15th, 2008 this track is still an evergreen and one of brazillian rapper Marcelo D2’s finest moments. The usage of the 1973 song “Deixa eu Dizer” is just perfect!
Smooth, soulful and funky house from the master himself! And yet another example showing that it is possible to make cool house music videos without half naked people jumping around…
Check out this great tune! Written by Daisy Hicks and remixed by Sir Piers. The song features Matt Cooper on keyboards and guitarist Franciso Sales from Incognito.
I don’t know what is best with this mashup. Elvis Presley’s dancing, Freddie Mercury’s teeth or the fact that unlike many mashups this one turned out to be perfect!
There are lots of great DJs, producers and remixers around today. Norman Cook, better known as Fatboy Slim, is one of my favorites because of his unique style of music and explosive DJing style.
The best mix of “To Be In Love” was released in 1999 (the original was released in 1997). This track has been in my collection ever since it was released, and in my opinion every house lover should have a copy of it in their crates. I saw this video today in a Facebook post and to me this record sounds better than most of the songs on the hit lists today!
